Bhopal, October 16, 2011 (Abdul Ahad Farhan): Amassing disproportionate assets have cost dear to the then Excise Officer of Dewas district. In a recent judgment, a special court has imposed a fine of Rs. 70 lakh and five-year jail term. The Lokayukta Police had raided the house of the then Excise Officer of Dewas district Ramjeet Singh in February 2011 and seized disproportionate assets worth Rs. 69 lakh 34 thousand from his possession.
