Kiosk centres to be linked with public service centres

State has 12 to 13 thousand kiosk centres

Bhopal, July 12, 2015 (Ataullah Faizan): On the basis of feedback given by citizens, we can learn as to how much public problems and complaints are being received from where and what is status of their redressal. This was stated by Secretary Science & Technology and Public Service Management Mr. Hari Ranjan Rao at divisional workshop on e-Governance and public management at Pachmarhi today. Mr. Rao informed that the state has 12 to 13 thousand kiosk centres. In future, efforts will be made to link these centres to public service centres. He said that our target is to prepare cent percent Aadhar Cards. CEO of MPCIT Mr. M. Selvendran informed that the 60 percent complainants of Hoshangabad district are satisfied with redressal of their complaints registered on CM Helpline. Cases are being redressed timely. Director Public Service Management Mr. Ambrish Shrivastav said that public services were conceptualized in year 2012.

Public service centres have been opened at all development blocks in the state. At present, 336 centres are working. Four-fold increase in it is expected in future. As many as 151 services are enlisted in public service centres of which 82 are being delivered online. During next 5 years, 8 lakh employees will be imparted IT training through e-Daksh programme. Till date, IT training has been imparted to 30 thousand employees.

Commissioner Narmadapuram division Mr. V.K. Batham said that people are acquiring information through e-Governance. People of rural areas are being benefited. Hoshangabad Collector Mr. Sanket Bhondve informed about per month figure of preparation of Aadhar Cards. Betul Collector Mr. Gyaneshwar B. Patil said that Aadhar Card Centres should also be set up on the lines of Public Services Delivery Centres.
