ICT scheme to be introduced in 2 thousand schools

 

Bhopal, September 1, 2015 (Abdul Ahad Farhan):   Information Communication Technology (ICT) will be introduced in 2000 government schools in Madhya Pradesh. Computers and other materials for the schemes are being made available to schools. Training for the scheme will be imparted to teachers by MAP-IT from September 1. In the first phase, training would be imparted at 15 centres of MAP-IT including Bhopal, Dewas, Guna, Gwalior, Khandwa, Indore, Morena, Rewa, Sagar, Hoshangabad, Jabalpur, Mandsaur, Seoni, Shahdol and Chhatarpur. The state government has directed DEOs and DPCs to send selected teachers to places prescribed for the 10-day training. As many as 23 teachers from Bhopal district, 30 each Mandsaur and Chhatarpur, Dewas 28, Guna, Gwalior, Jabalpur and Rewa 24 each, Seoni, Shahdol and Indore 25 each and Hoshangabad, Khandwa, Morena and Sagar 20 each will undergo training. At Bhopal, training would be imparted at Regional Capacity Augmentation Centre at Kolar Road. Training will be held for Chhatarpur from September 24, Hoshangabad, Jabalpur and Mandsaur from September 14, Seoni September 15, Shahdol September 16 and remaining districts from September 1.
