Products of SHGs to boom in entire country
Bhopal, September 16, 2015 (Ataullah Faizan): Ajeevkika Brand of Madhya Pradesh will be launched at various stores in Delhi NCR area on September 16. Panchayats and Rural Development Minister Mr. Gopal Bhargava will launch Ajeevika Brand at JMD Galleria Mall in Sector 48 of Gurgaon on September 16. ACS Rural Development Mrs. Aruna Sharma and CEO of State Livelihoods Forum Mr. L.M. Belwal will also be present. Materials produced by poor women’s self-help-groups, producer companies, producer groups and activity-based clusters with the assistance of State Livelihoods Forum are now being supplied for sale in Delhi NCR areas. Through this novel initiative, consumers in Delhi NCR will get Madhya Pradesh’s special products easily, but the products of Madhya Pradesh’s poor rural people will also fetch better prices. Arrangements for home delivery of Ajeevika products have also been made. These products will also be sold through online platforms like v2cbazar.com. Soon, Ajeevika Brand products will also be made available for sale in major cities of the state. These 108 different products include food products like flour of Sharbati wheat, besan, dalia, honey, turmeric, chilli, coriander, pickles, jams, jaggery and groundnut and various other products including handicraft, carpets, handloom clothes, earthen ware & artifacts, bangles, washing powder and sanitary napkins.
NGO Jai Kisan Group has collaborated in branding and sale of Madhya Pradesh’s Ajeevika Brand products in Delhi. This organisation is setting up outlets for sale of these products in Gurgaon and Delhi NCR. Home delivery is also being started. Information about these products is also being disseminated through digital branding in Gurgaon, Delhi NCR and all other states. For this, e-mail, SMS and social media like Facebook and Youtube will be extensively used.
