lead20.9Bhopal, September 20, 2015 (Muslim Saleem):   Chief Minister Mr. Shivraj Singh Chouhan has exhorted officers to work with resolve for Madhya Pradesh’s development and people’ welfare. Work as Team Madhya Pradesh to make Madhya Pradesh pioneer state. All departments should have arrangement for third party valuation to prevent irregularities in implementation of schemes. Take strict action on irregularity in schemes’ implementation. The Chief Minister directed section officers to ensure that all eligible beneficiaries of destitute pension scheme get pension timely every month. Time-limit in construction works should be strictly followed.

Suspension process should be initiated as soon as challan is presented in corruption cases. A drive should be launched from September 25 to October 2 to benefit beneficiaries of various self-employment schemes. Arrangements for Antyodaya Melas should be improved further. It should be ensured that every beneficiary gets benefit at the Mela itself. Chief Minister Mr. Chouhan was chairing a high level review meeting at Mantralaya here today. Chief Secretary Mr. Anthony de Sa and DGP Mr. Surendra Sinh were also present at the meeting.  The Chief Minister called for war-footing action to prevent and control infectious diseases like dengue, malaria and swine flu by Health Department.

Process to construct medical college buildings at Ratlam, Rewa and Shahdol should be started at the earliest. Timely distribution of fertilisers should be ensured and arrangements should be made to curb blackmarketing of fertilisers. Priority should be attached to repair roads damaged during rainy season. Planned works should be undertaken to create 10 lakh hectares additional irrigation potential by year 2015. Basin-wise action plans should be chalked out for irrigation projects. The Chief Minister directed to work promptly to make available housing facility to each houseless person.

Draft of a law for this has been chalked out in this regard and its rules will be framed by September 30 next. Following it, survey of houseless persons and available land will be undertaken. He said that all departmental officers should ensure disposal of applications received at CM Helpline within time-limit. The scheme to provide scholarships to poor students of general category should be further streamlined. It was informed that it is proposed to increase annual income limit from Rs. 54 thousand to Rs. one lakh 20 thousand to cover more students under the scheme.
