4 tribal players to visit Australia
Bhopal, September 22, 2015 (Ataullah Faizan): Four tribal players will participate in international sports competition at Adelaide in Australia. This was informed by SC and ST Welfare Minister Mr. Gyan Singh at felicitation function of outstanding tribal players here today. Mr. Singh informed that financial assistance is being provided to players taking part in state level games. This year department’s 4 players, Ku. Jyoti, Ku. Seema, Ku. Sarita from Dhar and Mukesh Nalvaya from Indore will visit Adelaide, Australia to take part in international games from November 21 to 29. Mr. Singh gave away cash awards, letters of citation, track suits, medals and trophies as first, second and third prizes for their participation in national games.
First prize winners were given Rs. 10 thousand each, second Rs. 7 thousand, third Rs. 5 thousand while 199 other players were given Rs. 4 thousand each incentive money. MLA Mr. Vel Singh Bhuria, Principal Secretary Tribal Welfare Mr. Ashok Shah, Secretary Tribal Welfare Mrs. Veena Ghanekar, Commissioner Tribal Development Mr. J.N. Malpani, Commissioner Scheduled Castes Mr. Sanjeev Jha and other senior officers were also present.
