Mr. Jain at state advisory board’s meeting
Bhopal, September 23, 2015 (Ataullah Faizan): School Education Minister Mr. Paras Jain has said that a number of important measures have been taken to improve quality of school education during last 10 years in Madhya Pradesh. Quality Year has been observed as an effective tool for this. Joint efforts are needed to improve quality of education. Mr. Jain was addressing a meeting of State Advisory Board of School Education Department here today. Minister of State for School Education Mr. Deepak Joshi was also present. Mr. Jain said that council’s meeting should be convened every third month.
Welcoming members’ suggestions, he directed to implement them. Mr. Jain informed that constant efforts are being made to get sanctioned School Education Department’s proposals sent to the Centre. He informed that concrete arrangements have been made to ensure teachers’ punctuality and teaching. Mr. Jain said that the state government has always safeguarded interests of Adhyapaks and contractual school teachers. He informed that efforts are on to get re-started class V and VIII board exams. This system is likely to be implemented from next academic session. He advised to invite public representatives in events like Pratibha Parv.
The meeting discussed decisions taken on minutes of the council’s meeting held on June 2. Commissioner Public Instructions informed about implementation of suggestions put forth by members. Additional Mission Director of Rajya Shiksha Kendra Mrs. Swati Meena, Director Public Instructions Mr. Rajesh Jain, council’s members Om Prakash Jangalwa, Humukchand Bhuvanta, Gulzarilal Dube, Rajkumer Bhavsar, Trilochan Tripathi, Rupesh Vishwakarma, Balaram Gupta and Prakash Rokade attended the meeting.
