Mr. Shukla participates in function on banks of Mandakini at Chitrakoot
Bhopal, October 29, 2015 (Abdul Ahad Farhan): Public Relations, Energy, New & Renewable Energy and Mineral Resources Minister Mr. Rajendra Shukla has said that Sharadotsav is part of our rich cultural and spiritual traditions. Sharadotsav held on the banks of Mandakini river at Chitrkoot, the place of worship of Lord Ram and field of work of Nanaji Deshmukh gives a new cultural feeling. Mr. Shukla inaugurated programmes of second evening of Sharadotsav at Chitrakoot on Tuesday. Rajasthani Manganiyar songs were presented by Mr. Indu Rang and party (Barmer). Folk dances of Assam and Punjab were also presented. Mr. Shukla said that Nanaji Deshmukh will always be remembered for development of Chitrakoot and highlighting its importance.
With inspiration of Nanaji, a major River Conservation Project was launched to save Mandakini from pollution. This Sharadotsav has assumed added significance since it is being held during birth centenary year of Nananji. Yuvraj Swami Acharya Badri Prapannacharya of Acharya Ashram, Naya Gaon, Sant Madan Gopal Das of Kamadgiri Pramukh Dwar, Organising Secretary of Deendayal Research Institute Mr. Abhay Mahajan, District BJP President Mr. Surendra Singh Baghel and other public representatives were also present on the occasion.
