CS directs at bamboo mission’s meeting
Bhopal, November 14, 2015 (Ataullah Faizan): Chief Secretary Mr. Anthony de Sa reviewed activities of Madhya Pradesh State Bamboo Mission to make bamboo popular and increase it use here today. A meeting of state level steering committee of Bamboo Mission chaired by the Chief Secretary discussed to exempt bamboo from transit pass in 16 bamboo producing districts in the state except Balaghat. Discussions were also held on linking bamboo nurseries and materials made of bamboo with Mukhyamantri Swarozgar Yojana. CS directed for maximum use of bamboo structures in arrangements for Simhastha. The meeting endorsed Mission’s annual action plan. CS praised Mission Director Dr. A.K. Bhattacharya and activities promoting use of bamboo. Principal Secretary Women & Child Development Mr. J.N. Kansotiya, Principal Secretary Farmers Welfare and Agriculture Development Mr. Rajesh Rajora and Forest Department officers attended the meeting.
