Governor at children’s day function at Raj Bhavan
Bhopal, November 15, 2015 (Abdul Ahad Farhan): Governor Mr. Ram Naresh Yadav has said that India’s first Prime Minister late Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru loved children very much and wished to see their faces as fresh as roses. He said that late Pt. Nehru used to see country’s bright future in children. Pt. Nehru was propounder of modern India. The Governor stated this at Children’s Day function held by Madhya Pradesh Children’s Welfare Council at Raj Bhavan here today. Governor Mr. Yadav garlanded a photograph of Pt. Nehru and paid tributes to him. Joint Secretary Mr. V.P. Chaturvedi threw light on council’s activities. Tiny tots presented nationalistic songs and plays. Principal Secretary to Governor Mr. Ajay Tirkey, office-bearers, teachers and senior officers of Raj Bhavan were present on the occasion. Council’s Vice-President Mr. Somesh Dayal Sharma proposed a vote of thanks.
