Works costing over Rs. 2.50 crore for Ujjain’s temples and archaeological museum

Bhopal, December 10, 2015 (Ataullah Faizan):  In view of Simhastha-2016, a sum of over Rs. 2 crore 55 lakh would be spent on development and other works of 6 temples and Archaeological Museum of Ujjain. Of this, maximum Rs. one crore 28 lakh 65 thousand would be spent on Archaeological Museum’s electrification, fire extinguishers, CC TV cameras, fire alarm etc. Minister of State for Tourism and Culture Mr. Surendra Patwa informed that preservation and development works costing Rs. 13 lakh 15 thousand will be undertaken at Bhrathari Gupha at Ujjain, over Rs. 22 lakh 17 thousand Janardan Mandir, Rs. 30 lakh 3 thousand Vishnu Chatushtaka, Rs. 25 lakh 32 thousand Kal Bhairav Mandir and Rs. 36 lakh 52 thousand would be spent on Tilakeshwar Mandir. Mr. Patwa has directed to complete these works within time-limit in view of Simhastha-2016.
