Governor inaugurates national seminar on “Medical education in Hindi”
Bhopal, December 20, 2015 (Abdul Ahad Farhan): Governor Mr. Ram Naresh Yadav has said that providing medical education syllabus in Hindi is a historic step. This will fulfill long-standing demand of rural and backward area students. The Governor was addressing national seminar on ‘Medical Education in Hindi’ at Atal Bihari Vajpayee Hindi Vishwavidayalaya here today. The Governor said that due to unavailability of syllabus like medical education in Hindi, students of rural and backward areas were unable to pursue these courses.
Availability of medical education syllabus in Hindi will help rural students to realize their dream of becoming doctors and Hindi language will also be uplifted. Keynote speaker of the seminar Dr. Yatish Agrawal said that making available medical education syllabus in Hindi is a major challenge. But this public interest work can be done with firm resolve and determination.
Dr. Agrawal said that for connection to crores of fellow countrymen, it is necessary to make available medical education syllabus in Hindi along with English. On the occasion, the Governor released manuscript of medical education syllabus in Hindi written by Dr. Vipin Chaturvedi. University’s Vice Chancellor Prof. Mohanlal Chheepa delivered the welcome address. Convener Dr. B.K. Sharma proposed a vote of thanks.
