Government holiday declared on Lord Jhulelal Jayanti
CM Mr. Chouhan at state convention of Sindhu Mahasabha
Bhopal, December 21, 2015 (Muslim Saleem): Chief Minister Mr. Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that Sindhi community people are patriots, hard working and serve people. They have carved their distinct identity in business sector with their hard work and dutifulness. Their contribution is vital in state’s development and progress. The Chief Minister was addressing state convention of Sindhu Mahasabha at Lal Parade Ground here today. Mr. Chouhan declared government holiday on Lord Jhulelal Jayanti. Besides, he also assured to solve various problems of Sindhi community.
The Chief Minister said that Sindhi community saints and seers have given a new dimension to public welfare. Sindhi community people have carved their distinct identity in business and industry sectors by the dint of their hard work and dutifulness. He said that the state government has framed a law recently for permanent solution of pattas and merger issues. He said that Shaheed Hemu Kalani laid down his life for country’s freedom. The government will initiate necessary measures to honour him. Necessary steps would also be taken for expansion of Sindhi Akademi. He informed that the state government gives 50 percent subsidy under Sindhu Darshan Yojana.
Besides, state’s cultural troupes are also sent. In his welcome address, State President of Sindhu Mahasabha Mr. Bhagwandas Sabnani expressed gratitude towards the state government for efforts to uplift Sindhi community. National President of Sindhu Mahasabha Mr. Laxman Chandiramani, MLA Mr. Ashok Rohani, Mr. Laddharam, Sant Siddhabhau and members of the community from all over the state were present on the occasion. Sindhi Samaj also felicitated the Chief Minister.
