Attention needs to be paid to animal husbandry also to make agriculture profitable

shukl4.1.16Bhopal, January 4, 2016 (Abdul Ahad Farhan):  Energy and Public Relations Minister Mr. Rajendra Shukla has said that attention needs to be paid to animal husbandry also to make agriculture profitable in the state. He said that the state government is promoting horticulture crops along with traditional crops. The Minister was performing Bhumi Poojan of Rs. 12 crore infrastructure development works at Veterinary College at Rewa today. The Minister said that Veterinary College is a major achievement for Rewa. Receipt of recognition to the college is a matter of satisfaction and pleasure. Mr. Shukla said that there will be no lack of funds for all-round development of the college. He said that boundary wall of the college will be constructed soon.

  The Minister inaugurated Maharaj Martand Singh Ju Dev Memorial Football Tournament at Govindgarh. He said that Govindgarh has cherished tradition of football. Best footballers of country visit Govindgarh to take part in the tournament. He urged players to display sportsman’s spirit. Energy Minister Mr. Shukla visited Mukundpur tiger safari. He directed officers that all works of tiger safari should be finalized soon since it would be inaugurated shortly.
