Collectors should review insurance claim cases

cs6.1.16Bhopal, January 6, 2016 (Ataullah Faizan):  Due to extreme preoccupations of Chief Minister Mr. Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Chief Secretary Mr. Anthony de Sa solved various pending cases at Samadhan Online today. CS directed collectors to review with bank officers pending cases of insurance claim at district level. CS gave this directive in a case of Balaghat district. He expressed unhappiness on non-payment of amount under Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Yojana on death of wife Mrs. Vandana to Mr. Bhojraj Rahangdale of Balaghat district. Directives were given to issue notices and take strict action against SBI branch manager Mr. Surendra Soni and kiosk operator Mr. Devendra Barbor for not insuring applicant despite submission of insurance amount and form under the scheme.

CS said that action will also be taken to punish kiosk operators and bank branch managers in such cases. CS ensured payment of Rs. 25 thousand for laptop to Mr. Vaibhav Chawla of Ratlam for being selected in CLAT from Law University, Ranchi (Jharkhand) from SC and ST Welfare Department which was pending since July 2015. CS directed collector to undertake survey to provide compensation to Mr. Girdhari Varman of Umaria. Pending amount of insurance was paid to Mrs. Urmila Bai, a tendu patta collector of Balaghat district. CS said that Secretary of Goreghat Gram Panchayat should be suspended for not aying amount till date after death of applicant’s hushand in August 2013.

Fine of Rs. 5100 was deducted from Mr. Dhanraj Hirkane, Manager of Primary Minor Forest Produce Society, Goreghat and deposited in applicant’s bank account. CS suspended Secretary of Sewasani Gram Panchayt in Sanchi Janpad of Raisen district Mr. Om Prakash for delay in payment for toilet construction. In this case, directives were given to terminate service of Gram Rozgar Sahayak Mr. Krishna Kant appointed on contract basis.

Payment of Rs. 16 thousand 400 was made to Mr. Janki Prasad of Tikamgarh district as compensation for death of animal. Directives were given to withhold one increment each of the then patwari Mr. Sunil Pandey and existing patwari Mr. Hari Shankar Khare for negligence in the case. CS directed to issue show cause notices to Public Health Engineering Department’s assistant engineer Mr. T.S. Barkane and sub engineer Mr. Vishnu Agrawal in the pending case of Mr. Sukhdev Barkare of village Banjara Tola in Mandla district.
