MoS for school education Mr. Joshi at orientation programme
Bhopal, January 17, 2016 (Abdul Ahad Farhan): Minister of State for Higher and School Education Mr. Deepak Joshi has called for deploying teachers in teaching work independently. Mr. Joshi was addressing an orientation programme at Model School here today. Mr. Joshi said that efforts to write a new chapter in education sector will succeed only through joint efforts. He called for thoroughly studying action plan chalked out by the department for ‘Upgradation through Evaluation’ and implementing it. Mr. Joshi said that the department wishes ensure due respect to teachers.
Commissioner Rajya Shiksha Kendra Mrs. Deepti Gaud Mukherjee said that upgradation is a constant process. It cannot be ensured with muscle power. She called for identifying own mistakes and try to improve. Information about remarkable works done at Government Primary Boys School Toomda in Narsinghpur district was given by Sarpanch Mr. Narmada Singh Rajput, President of Parents-Teachers Association Mr. Prahlad Singh Patel and Head Master Mr. Halkeveer Patel.
The school has been upgraded to Model School through joint efforts. Similarly, teacher Mr. Jitendra Singh Baghela also mentioned remarkable teaching work done at Government Middle School, Potala in Dewas district. Prof. Preeti Panda and subject experts dwelt in detail on various subjects. Joint Directors, District Education Officers, DPCs, DIET and PGBT principals were present on the occasion.
