Bhopal, January 27, 2016 (Ataullah Faizan): Chief Minister Mr. Shivraj Singh Chouhan unveiled statue of Shaheed Champalal Malviya at village Ghatla in Ratlam district today. Mr. Chouhan paid tributes to soldiers who laid down their lives defending the country. The Chief Minister said that it is due to these Shaheeds that we sleep peacefully in our homes. Their families will not be left to feel neglected. The government will make all arrangements for their families. Mr. Chouhan said that a plot has been made available at Ratlam to family of Shaheed Champalal. It is noteworthy that Mr. Champalal Malviya of village Ghatla in Ratlam district posted in CRPF battalion had attained martyrdom discharging his duties on January 7, 2013.
The Chief Minister said that Ghatla will be developed as a model village. He urged all villagers to cooperate in efforts for this. Mr. Chouhan said that all necessary works of Shaheed’s village will be undertaken. He urged villagers to construct toilets in their households. Mr. Chouhan also directed administration to ensure construction of toilets through government scheme at toiletless households.
On villagers’ appeal, the Chief Minister announced that to Bangrod-Sejawata road will be named after Shaheed Champalal. He announced to concretize the road, and construction of a 1.5 km long pucca road from Ghatla bridge to diesel shade. The Chief Minister announced to upgrade middle college to high school at village Ghatla from next session. He said that daughters of Shaheed’s village will not have to go to other villages for class IX studies from next session.
