Companies laud investment policy
Bhopal, February 9, 2016 (Muslim Saleem): Representatives of 3 companies held discussions with Chief Minister Mr. Shivraj Singh Chouhan on investment in the state here today. It is noteworthy that the Chief Minister holds discussions with investors and solves their problems instantly on first Monday of every month. Messrs Hari Krishna Export Mumbai, a company with about Rs.5000 crore annual turnover offered to set up Diamond Institute to raise skilled human resources for diamond cutting and producing jewellery. The Chief Minister said that the state government is committed to ensuring skill development of youths.
He said that along with skill development, investment is also welcome in diamond cutting sector. Company’s Chairman Mr. Shavji Dolakiya presented copies of “Gita” specially printed in Sanskrit, Hindi and English languages. Messrs Digipro System Private Limited New Delhi discussed investment in defence production manufacturing with the Chief Minister. Company’s Chairman Mr. Deepak Gupta informed that the company wishes to set up a unit to produce 10-seater aircraft and maintenance of defence ordinance vehicles.
Company’s Chairman congratulated the Chief Minister for his foresightendness of formulating attractive policy of defence production manufacturing. The Chief Minister said that the government welcomes new investments in this sector and will extend maximum cooperation to investors. Vice Chairman of Messrs Hindustan Kolkata Beverages Pilookheri (Rajgarh) Mr. Ashutosh Singh informed that constant work is being undertaken in 2000 hectares to carry out corporate social responsibility in the interest of farmers.
The company is interested in investing Rs. 600 crore in the first year. He informed that the company is getting government’s cooperation at every level. Industries Minister Mrs. Yashodhara Raje Scindia, Chief Secretary Mr. Anthony de Sa, Principal Secretary Industries Mr. Mohammad Suleman, Secretary to CM Mr. Vivek Agrawal and concerning officers were present.
