Journalist’s pen gives direction to society

Mr. Gaur at state level award ceremony of Sapre Museum

gaur13.2.16Bhopal, February 13, 2016 (Abdul Ahad Farhan):  Home and Jail Minister Mr. Babulal Gaur has said that journalist’s pen gives direction to society. Their writings play effective role in protecting common people’s interests. Mr. Gaur was addressing state level award ceremony at Sapre Museum here today. The function was presided over by former Minister Mr. Satyanarayan Sharma. Mr. Gaur shared journalism-related anecdotes. He congratulated and extended best wishes to awardees. Mr. Gaur felicitated journalists and Additional Director Public Relations with letters of citation, shawls and pens.

‘Santosh Kumar Shukla Mass Communication Award’ was conferred to Additional Director Public Relations Mr. Suresh Gupta; Makhanlal Chaturvedi Award to Patrika’s editor Mr. Alok Mishra; Lal Baldev Singh Award to Hari Bhumi’s editor Dr. Himanshu Dwivedi; Jagdish Prasad Chaturvedi Award to special correspondent of Dainik Bhaskar Mr. Anil Gupta; Rameshwar Guru Award to special correspondent of Nav Duniya Mr. Rajiv Soni; Jhabarmall Sharma Award to Channel Head of Bansal News Mr. Sharad Dwivedi, Mr. K.P. Naryanan Award to special correspondent of Hindustan Times Mr. Rahul Noronha (2015) and Bureau Chief of Statesman Mr. Gaurav Chandra (2016).

Rajendra Nutan Award was conferred to special correspondent of DB Post Mr. Dharmendra Paigwar; Yashwant Argare Award to Pradesh Today’s columnist Mr. Arif Mirza; Arogya Sudha Award to correspondent of People’s Samachar Miss Sneha Khare; Jagat Pathak Award to Mr. Ashok Gautam of Dainik Jagran and Homai Vyarawala Award was conferred to Dainik Bhaskar’s photo journalist Mr. Shan Bahadur. Hukumchand Narad Award sponsored by Veteran Journalists Federation was conferred to Mr. Shyam Katare and Mr. Mahesh Mahdel, Jabalpur, Mr. Rakesh Achal of Gwalior, Mr. Jairam Shukla, Rewa-Bhopal, Mr. Malay Shrivastava and Mr. Pushpraj Purohit, Bhopal. Senior journalists Mr. Mahesh Shrivastava and Mr. Ramesh Nayyar released research work ‘Murdhanya Sampadak’ of late Mr. Santosh Kumar Shukla. Mr.Shrivastava dwelt on subject matter of the book. Mr. Nayyar threw light on different aspects of Mr. Shukla’s personality.
