Next generation of Vedic learning to be raised in new building of Vedic Shiksha Sansthan
Bhopal, February 16, 2016 (Ataullah Faizan): Ujjayani city has been regarded as the major centre of Vedic learning. Fame of this city’s Vedic knowledge has spread far and wide. Since then till day Ujjain has maintained its distinct identity pertaining to Vedic teaching. Maharshi Sandeepni had established Gurukul at Ujjayani at the time when entire world was wandering in the darkness of ignorance and illiteracy and the countries regarded as modern now had not even emerged. To further this fame, Ujjain Mahakal Mandir Management Committee has constructed its new building. Classes will start soon in the new building. Teaching work will be undertaken keeping in view prominence of Vedas. Mystiques of Shukl Yajurveda will be unraveled at the new building got constructed by Maharshi Patanjali Sanskrit Shodh Sansthan Madhya Pradesh. Classes including Prathma, Poorv Madhyama and Uttar Madhyama will be held there. Prathma will continue for class VI, VII and VIII.
In these classes, new generations of pandits will be raised by teaching of Mantras and worship method in accordance with Shukl Yajurveda. Class VIII students will be imparted teaching of Mantras used in all kinds of worships. Students will be taught Shlokas contained in Rudraksh Adhyay of Shukla Yajurveda. Shlokas chanted in major Yagyas will be taught in Poorv Madhyama classes IX and X.
In Uttar Madhyama, teaching of 40 chapters of Madhyadini Samhita and entire knowledge of basic epics and language of Vedas. The building at Ujjain has been constructed at cost of Rs. 12 crore 56 lakh. Ujjain Mahakal Mandir Management Committee has made hostel and food arrangements for students in the new building. Representatives of religion will also visit here and take stock of its activities during Simhastha.
