Bhopal, February 21, 2016 (Ataullah Faizan): Government officers and employees to be deployed during Simhastha from April 22 to May 21 at Ujjain this year will be lodged in 126 buildings. Repairs of these buildings are going on at a rapid pace. These buildings will also have basic amenities. Government staff of 26 departments for Simhastha duty will reach Ujjain. Arrangements will be made to lodge them in the buildings of various schools and colleges of Ujjain. Ujjain has got gift of well equipped police training centre costing Rs. 48 crore 17 lakh. Two hostels have also been constructed for 960 trainees at the centre spread over 55 acre land on Maksi Road. The training centre has been constructed by Madhya Pradesh Housing Board. Works of CC road and overhead tanks have been completed there. It would have capacity to train 1000 police personnel. It is noteworthy that police force to be deployed during Simhastha will also be lodged in this building. As many as 17 training rooms have been constructed in Police Training Centre. Forest Department will open Sanjeevani Kendras during Simhastha. At present, the department is conducting a Sanjeevni Kendra in Mahakal zone. One Sanjeevani Kendra each will be opened in remaining 5 zones also. Forest Department has started beautification work on banks of Holy River Kshipra to stop soil erosion since December 5, 2015 at a cost of Rs. one crore.
