Every possible government assistance for education of martyrs’ children

CM Mr. Chouhan presents Ananya Samman to family members of martyrs

cmmarty24.2.16Bhopal, February 23, 2016 (Abdul Ahad Farhan):  Chief Minister Mr. Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that the state government will ensure arrangements for better education of martyrs’ children including fee etc. He said that the state government stands by family members of martyrs in their happiness and sorrow. The Chief Minister was addressing Ananya Samman Samaroh-2016 organised by Zee News MP-Chhattisgarh here today. He felicitated family members of martyrs on the occasion. Mr. Chouhan said that innumerable people have laid down their lives for country’s independence. After independence, over 30 thousand soldiers have made the supreme sacrifice defending borders of the country and during internal security operations.

Paying homage to martyrs, the Chief Minister said that it is an irreparable loss for the families who have lost their members while defending the country. Mr. Chouhan said that the state government will strive to remove difficulties of family members of martyrs of Army and other security forces. He said that the state government gives Rs. 10 lakh honorarium for bereaved family of every martyr soldier, job to one member of the family, plot or house and honours the martyrs by installing their statues. He lauded the programme held to honour martyrs.

Family members of martyrs were felicitated on the occasion including martyr Raghunath Dwivedi of Rewa, Jageshwar Singh of Dewas, Charan Singh Gurjar of Morena, Jitendra Kushwah of Rewa, Manmohan Singh of Satna, Nahar Singh of Morena, Semnath Rathore of Anuppur, Mahesh Kumar Baradiya of Satna and Sudhkar Singh of Sidhi.  PWD Minister Mr. Sartaj Singh, Public Health Minister Dr. Narottam Mishra, Transport Minister Mr. Bhupendra Singh, Public Relations Minister Mr. Rajendra Shukla, Women and Child Development Minister Mrs. Maya Singh, Labour Minister Mr. Antar Singh Arya, Minister of State for GAD Mr. Lal Singh Arya, Minister of State for Tourism Mr. Surendra Patwa, Minister of State for School Education Mr. Deepak Joshi, former CM Mr. Kailash Joshi, MLAs, other public representatives and distinguishes citizen were present on the occasion.
