lead25.2.16Bhopal, February 25, 2016 (Muslim Saleem):  Addressing Shabri Mahakumbh at Anuppur today, Chief Minister Mr. Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that tribals living in shanties by occupying land in rural and urban areas will be given housing pattas. Following issuance of housing pattas, tribals will be given Rs. one lakh in villages and Rs. 2.50 lakh in cities to construct house with toilet. He announced that Rs. 50 thousand incentive money will be given to tribal students securing high marks in science faculty. He said that Shabri Mata was devotion, meditation and patience personified. The Chief Minister said that all tribal families in Madhya Pradesh have been covered under Food Security Act. For them, condition of BPL has been abolished to provide tribal families food grains at Re. one per kg. He said that the state government will bear fee of all tribal students from class one to college.

Students are also being given facility for study in foreign countries. The Chief Minister said that Chhatra-grih Yojana has been implemented for SC, ST students. Under the scheme, students can rent a house in cities if they are unable to get a place in hostels. He said that forest right letters have been distributed to 2 lakh 14 thousand forest dwellers in the state. Today (February 24) a special campaign is being undertaken throughout the state to dispose of complaints in this regard. The Chief Minister said that for tribal youths, the state government is giving loan guarantee under Mukhyamantri Yuva Swarozgar and Yuva Udyami Yojana.

Interest on loans for 7 years will be given by the government, which will also extend assistance in marketing and branding of their products. The Chief Minister said that he would undertake surprise visits to villages under Jan-Kalyan Yatra and inspect implementation of schemes on the spot. He said that strict action would be taken against concerning persons if irregularities are detected.  SC and ST Welfare Minister Mr. Gyan Singh, MP Mr. Dalpat Singh Paraste and MLA Mr. Ramlal Rautele also spoke on the occasion. Food and Civil Supplies Minister Kunwar Vijay Shah, Zila Panchayat Chairperson Mrs. Roopmati Singh, MLAs Mr. Jai Singh Marawai and Mrs. Pramila Singh, social worker Mr. Bhagwat Sharan Mathur, Mr. Ajay Pratap Singh and other public representatives were present on the occasion.
