Harsiddhi crossing gets new look
CM dedicates works costing Rs. 39 crore at Ujjain
Bhopal, March 3, 2016 (Ataullah Faizan): Chief Minister Mr. Shivraj Singh Chouhan dedicated works costing Rs. 39 crore at Rudra Sagar at Ujjain today. He dedicated works costing Rs. 7 crore 44 lakh for preservation and beautification of Rudra Sagar, beautification of Ranoji Chhatri and lightings at Ramghat costing Rs. 3 crore 14 lakh, CC road from Harsiddhi Madir to Lal Pul trisection via Narsingh ghat, widening of Hari Phatak over bridge and newly constructed bridges at Dutt Akhada etc costing Rs. 11 crore 20 lakh. It is noteworthy that Chief Minister Mr. Chouhan had launched a campaign for preservation and beautification of Rudra Sagar by de-silting it through voluntary labour on February 14, 2015. Now, the area has acquired a new look. Rudra Sagar situated behind Mahakal Mandir has now become a tourist attraction. In-charge Minister Mr. Bhupendra Singh, Simhastha Central Committee’s Chairman Mr. Makhan Singh, Mayor Mrs. Meena Jonwal, Ujjain Development Authority’s Chairman Mr. Jagdish Agrawal, other public representatives, corporators and distinguished citizens were present on the occasion.
