CM Mr. Chouhan’s birthday celebrated as service day
Bhopal, March 6, 2016 (Muslim Saleem): Chief Minister Mr. Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that for him his birthday is an occasion to renew the resolve to serve people and to eradicate poverty in the state. Everyone’s income should increase so much to live a decent life without having to ask money from others. Mr. Chouhan was addressing a function on the occasion of Service Day to mark his birthday at Manas Bhavan here today. The Chief Minister was felicitated with shawl and coconut. Blood was donated, tricycles and clutches were distributed to disabled, sewing machines to women and utensils were provided to some patients on Service Day. The Chief Minister said that final goal of his life is serving people.
He is conducting the government to serve the poor. Efforts are being made to bring smiles on faces of the poor. With this objective, wheat, rice and salt are being provided at Re. one per kg, health and education facilities have been expanded. He said that the poor will be given residential pattas soon for the land being occupied by them for long. Following it, a campaign would be launched to construct houses. He said that effective efforts are afoot to double income of state’s people and no one is unemployed.
He said that a campaign would be conduct for health check-up of disabled persons. They would be treated as per their specific ailments and given artificial organs. MP and State BJP President Mr. Nand Kumar Singh Chouhan said that district unit is celebrating Service Day today. On the occasion, blood donation camps are being held, disabled persons are given equipments and essential goods are being distributed to the needy. Revenue Minister Mr. Rampal Singh, MP Mr. Alok Sanjar, Mayor Mr. Alok Sharma, former Mayor Mrs. Krishna Gaur, State Organising Secretary Mr. Arvind Menon, Vice President Mr. Vijesh Lunawat, General Secretary Mr. Vinod Gotiya, large number of office-bearers, workers and people were present on the occasion. The Chief Minister and his wife Mrs. Sadhana Singh Chouhan also performed Kanya Poojan and inspected blood donation camp.
