Ministers extend Holi greetings

Appeals to celebrate festival with harmony and unity

Bhopal, March 23, 2016 (Muslim Saleem):  Chief Minister Mr. Shivraj Singh Chouhan has extended greetings and best wishes to people of the state on Holi. Mr. Chouhan said that Holi is the symbol for rich Indian heritage having special significance in Indian culture. The festival inspires for making life meaningful and commitment to serve people. It gives the message to move ahead in life with social harmony sinking all differences. Mr. Chouhan has hoped that people will celebrate Holi with joy, fervour and mutual affection without harming environment. Governor Mr. Ram Naresh Yadav has extended greetings and best wishes to people of the state on Holi. The Governor said that Holi is the festival of colours and enthusiasm. It inspires to move ahead on path of development with love, brotherhood and unity.  The Governor has appealed to people to celebrate Holi with enthusiasm and fervour with clean and healthy social traditions. In the presence of Governor Mr. Ram Naresh Yadav, Holi Milan programme will be held at Raj Bhavan on March 24. The Governor will exchange greetings and best wishes of Holi with all visitors. Public Relations, Energy, New & Renewable Energy and Mineral Resources Minister Mr. Rajendra Shukla has extended greetings and best wishes to people of the state on Holi.

In his greeting message, Mr. Shukla said that significance of Holi lies in the fact that on this day every sort of social discrimination comes to an end. This is the occasion when all sections of society celebrate festival cordially. The Minister has appealed to people to celebrate the festival with harmony, linking all differences. He wished for enthusiasm, fervour and happiness in people’s lives. He appealed to celebrate Holi with peace, harmony and dignity.
