shukll27.3.16Bhopal, March 27, 2016 (Ataullah Faizan):  Public Relations, Energy and Mineral Resources Minister Mr. Rajendra Shukla has said that education and health are significant indicators of an area’s development. Private companies need to come forward to establish good and modern medical facilities and super speciality hospitals. Mr. Shukla was addressing inaugural function of Sarthak Hospital at Satna today. Vidhan Sabha Deputy Speaker Dr. Rajendra Kumar Singh presided over the function. Mr. Shukla said that the state has shrugged off tag of sick state and joined developed states of the country. He said that the state and Vindhya region have made much progress in road, power and water sectors.

He said that Green Revolution and Industrial Revolution and progress in tourism sector will open new vistas of development in Vindhya region. He said that schools and hospitals give major contribution in any area’s development. No parent wishes to leave any stone unturned for education of his child. In the same way, relatives of a person search the best hospital for his or her treatment. He said that now super speciality hospitals should also be established in cities like Satna instead of Delhi and Mumbai.

It is endeavour of the state government that super speciality hospitals are opened in all big districts. For this, private sector should also come forward.  Vidhan Sabha Deputy Speaker Dr. Rajendra Kumar Singh said that like its name, Sarthak Hospital will be useful for patients. He said that shortage of medical college is being felt in Vindhya region to overcome shortage of health services. For this, concerted efforts are needed. He lauded efforts of Minister Mr. Shukla for establishment of Mukundpur tiger safari.

MP Mr. Ganesh Singh said that opening of Sarthak Hospital has met a major necessity in the area. He informed that the Central Government has decided to set up dialysis centre in every district hospital and about 3000 medicine shops to provide medicines on concessional rates to patients. Satna Mayor Mrs. Mamta Pandey, State Backward Classes Commission member Mr. Laxmi Yadav, MLAs Mr. Yadvendra Singh, Mrs. Usha Chouhary and several other public representatives were present on the occasion.
