Bhopal, April 13, 2016 (Ataullah Faizan): As per directives of Central government, ‘Civil Service Day’ will be observed on April 21 in the state. Various programmes, discussions and workshops will be held on the occasion. District Collectors will be Nodal Officers for programmes. IAS, IFS, SAS and officers of other services of the state will be invited to these programmes. Workshops will be held on April 21, 2016 at divisional and district headquarters. They would be attended by IAS, IFS, SAS and officers of other services of the state. District Collectors will be Nodal Officers for programmes. Speeches/presentations of 8 to 10 minutes on selected subjects will be given at these workshops by 2 members of Indian Administrative Service, Indian Police Service and Central Services and one officer of State Administrative Service. Open discussions will be held following speeches/presentations. Subjects of workshops may be ‘Swachchh Bharat Abhiyan,’ ‘doubling agriculture income’, ‘Water Conservation in MP’, ‘Increasing Utility of Swachchh Urja’, ‘Partnership of Youths in Employment’, ‘Gram Uday Se Bharat Uday’ and ‘Innovations’. On Civil Service Day, April 21 tug-of-war, table tennis and other competitions will be held from 9 am.
