Bhopal, April 17, 2016 (Ataullah Faizan): Public Relations and Energy Minister Mr. Rajendra Shukla has said that sanction of Rs. 176 crore has been given by the state government for construction of drains in Rewa city. Mr. Shukla performed Bhumi Poojan of waste transfer station at Rewa on Friday. Mr. Shukla said that there would be proper waste management with construction of transfer station. Earlier, waste was being dumped at 200 places in the city. With construction of waste transfer station, waste of the city will be dumped at 3 places only. From here, waste would be immediately transferred to Koshta through vehicles.
He assured local residents that process to bring and transport waste at these stations will be continuously. He informed that the waste station will be enclosed and covered from all sides so that waste is not visible to people. A platform will also be constructed at the station. He also announced construction of a CC road costing Rs. 4.50 crore from Dhobiya Tanki to PTS crossing. Mayor Mrs. Mamta Gupta also spoke on the occasion. Mr. Shukla dedicated a Poha mill at village Itaura in the district. He said that industrial revolution will occur only when small industries are set up in villages. This will give employment to youths and bring economic prosperity. He said that the state government has implemented bank loan guarantee scheme to help youths establish industries.
