CM Mr. Chouhan dedicates new administrative building of commission

lead5.5.16Bhopal, May 5, 2016 (Muslim Saleem):  Chief Minister Mr. Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission has enhanced prestige of Madhya Pradesh through its credible and transparent functioning. Mr. Chouhan was dedicating new administrative building of the commission at Indore today. The building costing Rs. 15 crore has been constructed on 6 thousand 541 square metres. It has total 80 small and big rooms and 2 lifts.   The Chief Minister said that he takes pride in the fact that Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission has carved its speical identity through credible and transparent functioning. The commission has conducted exams with total honesty, credibility and transparency.

He urged the commission to chalk out an action plan so that small posts can be filled without exam on the basis of merit of marks of class XII. Commission’s Chairman Dr. Bipin Bihari Beohar said that Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission has a distinct identity in the country and it is functioning accordingly. He said that special attention has been paid to transparency in the commission. Efforts have been made to conduct time-bound exams. Commission’s Secretary Mr. Manohar Dube presented its progress report. He informed that commission is adopting several innovations in conducting exams. For the first time, State Engineering Service Test has been introduced. Last year, a number of important exams were held.

A calendar of exams for year 2017 is being released on the basis of which future exams will be held. Several exams have been held online. Online departmental promotion process has been started, which is also a unique step towards transparency. He informed that these works will be undertaken more smoothly with construction of commission’s new building. Commission’s office will be made paperless e-office.  Mayor Mrs. Malini Goud, IDA Chairman Mr. Shankar Lalwani, MLAs Mr. Sudarshan Gupta, Miss Usha Thakur and Mr. Mahendra Hardiya, commission’s members Mr. S.P. Gautm and Mr. Bhaskar Chaube, other public representatives, commission’s former Chairpersons and members, officers-employees and other distinguished citizens were also present on the occasion.
