Country will develop only through development of villages: Mr. Rampal Singh
Bhopal, May 21, 2016 (Abdul Ahad Farhan): Energy and Public Relations Minister Mr. Rajendra Shukla has said that power generation capacity in Madhya Pradesh has increased as per expectations. It was just 2900 MW in year 2003 which has increased to 15 thousand MW now. Quality of power has also improved considerably. Mr. Shukla was dedicating a 33/11 KV power sub-station at village Kagpur in Vidisha district today. Revenue Minister and In-charge of Vidisha district Mr. Rampal Singh presided over the function. Mr. Shukla said that the state government has implemented a number of schemes for farmers’ welfare. The government is committed to ensuring that farmers are supplied adequate quality power. Now, farmers can pay electricity bills only twice a year. The government is supplying subsidised power to them for irrigation. Minister Mr. Rampal Singh said that top priority is being attached to development of villages. Objective of Gramoday Se Bharat Uday Abhiyan is redressal of villagers’ problem on the spot. MP Mr. Laxminarayan Yadav, Mr. Saudan Singh Baghel also spoke on the occasion.
