PR Minister at annual function of “Patrika”
Bhopal, May 29, 2016 (Muslim Saleem): Public Relations and Energy Minister Mr. Rajendra Shukla has stressed the need for efforts to ensure that common people feel happiness within. For this, positive atmosphere should be promoted in society. He said that efforts need to be made to inculcate spirit of service among common people. Mr. Shukla was addressing annual function of Bhopal’s daily Hindi newspaper ‘Patrika’ here today. The programme focused on ‘Happy Cities and Villages’. Mr. Shukla said that prosperity does not mean richness of resources alone. Keeping this in view, the state government has decided to constitute Happiness Ministry. He said that the state government has taken rapid strides to ensure happiness in people’s lives by constituting Happiness Ministry. The Minister said that some people in society have the spirit to serve others and they draw happiness from it. This shows their positive nature. The Minister said that best practices in society should be highlighted on priority to motivate maximum number of people to emulate them.
He praised annual function of Patrika. He said that the conclusion drawn during this meet will be utilized by the state government. Patrika’s Group Editor Mr. Bhuvanesh Jain informed that Patrika’s first annual function in Madhya Pradesh is being held at Bhopal. He said that Patrika undertook programme to clean Bhopal’s Upper Lake and drive to boost morale of police with people’s cooperation. People participated in these programmes enthusiastically. He said that responsibility of newspapers is to highlight truth. Patrika is also striving to ensure that cities and villages are prosperous and citizens experience happiness. Subject experts are expressing views keeping this in view. Its benefits will reach common people. Chief Minister Mr. Shivraj Singh Chouhan’s message was also read out at the inaugural session.
