State’s first net metre connection launched from Rewa

mtere4.6.16Bhopal, June 4, 2016 (Abdul Ahad Farhan):   State’s first net metre connection under net metring policy (Energy Bank) was inaugurated the other day at Chinmaya Sewa Trust Ashram at village Laxmanpur near Rewa. It is noteworthy that Tata Solar System has install a 7 kilowatt solar plant at Ashram. Energy and Public Relations Minister Mr. Rajendra Shukla formally inaugurated this plant. Mr. Shukla said that it is a matter of pride that first net metring connection in the state has been given in Rewa district. It is equally pleasant that the scheme has been launched from a holy place like Chinmaya Ashram. The Minister informed that the state government gives 50 percent subsidy on solar rooftop. He informed that a provision will be made soon in net metring policy that along with LT lines, connections of HT lines are also given through net metring.
