Excessive rains in 23 districts of Madhya Pradesh

Bhopal: July 6, 2016. From June 1 to July 6, 23 districts have recorded above normal rains, 21 normal and 7 districts have recorded 15 below normal rains in the state. The districts where rainfall has been above normal include Jabalpur, Chhindwara, Mandla, Narsinghpur, Sagar, Damoh, Panna, Chatarpur, Umaria, Ratlam, Shajapur, Morena, Bhind, Shivpuri, Guna, Ashok Nagar, Datia, Bhopal, Sehore, Raisen, Vidisha, Rajgarh and  Hoshangabad.

Similarly, Katni, Seoni, Dindori, Tikamgarh, Rewa, Sidhi, Singrauli, Satna, Shahdol, Indore, Dhar, Alirajpur, Khandwa, Ujjain, Mandsaur, Neemuch, Dewas, Shyopur Kalan, Gwalior, Harda and Betul have recorded normal rainfall.

Below normal rainfall has been recorded in Balaghat, Anuppur, Jhabua, Khargone, Barwani, Burhanpur and Agar-Malwa districts.
