MoS Mr. Pathak reviews activities of Laghu Udyog Nigam
Bhopal, July 26, 2016 (Ataullah Faizan): Minister of State for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Mr. Sanjay Pathak directed to expedite works to develop MSMEs. Along with provide better atmosphere to young entrepreneurs, special attention should also be paid to skill development and vendor development. Mr. Pathak was reviewing activities of Laghu Udyog Nigam here today. Corporation’s Chairman Mr. Babu Singh Raghuvanshi was also present on the occasion. Mr. Pathak said that the Chief Minister has constituted separate MSME Department to promote micro, small and medium enterprises. He said that the Corporation must play significant role in ensuring that youths of the state become successful entrepreneurs and give jobs to other youths also. MD Mr. V.L. Kanta Rao informed that during year 2015-16, the corporation transacted business of Rs. 925.60 crore and earned net profit of Rs. 13.06 crore. Target of Rs. 1047.17 crore has been fixed for year 2016-17. Mr. Rao gave a power point presentation on schemes of various sections of the corporation.
