Days after a video of BB Bull Bull, India’s first professional woman wrestler, being knocked down by a former Haryana police constable Kavita went viral on social media, it has emerged that she is getting professional training from International wrestler and former WWE champion, ‘The Great Khali’.
Khali has now given Kavita, who has a 4-year-old kid, a new name – Hard KD.
33-year-old Kavita was MMA champion Kavita during a duel at the hub of Continental Wrestling Entertainment (CWE) in Jalandhar (Punjab). He had started weightlifting at the age of 20 years after being advised by her brother.
Kavita got a job of constable in Sashastra Seema Bal under sports quota in 2008. According to Kavita, she was assured of promotion but the Central Government didn’t promote her.
Apart from this, she was not even getting time to practice for weightlifting and this is why she decided to resign in 2010 and started taking care of her son.
“Few months ago my brother advised me to try hands in Wrestling and this is when I started getting professional training,” said Kavita.
She is currently getting training at Continental Wrestling Entertainment (CWE). The CWE is an Indian independent Professional wrestling promotion and training school, based in Jalandhar. It was launched by former WWE superstar The Great Khali on November 24, 2015.
