This woman was burnt alive by real uncle and sister

Accused in the case of murder of Leena Sharma failed to appear in court. Due to which the police could not file chargesheet. Now, the police is waiting for next court date to do this.

Shockingly, former American Embassy School employee Leena Sharma was murdered allegedly by her uncle and his domestic helps, in Hoshangabad district of Madhya Pradesh over a property dispute. “She was a very bold woman. She never spoke much to us or other residents, but would often ask about our health,” said Sharma’s neighbour, Asha Gupta. “We got to know about the incident through news channels. We are shocked. We didn’t even know she was missing.” Police has also questioned Leena Sharma’s elder sister

leena sharmaSharma, 39, used to live alone in a rented accommodation at a residential society in south Delhi’s Vasant Kunj. Other neighbours recalled Sharma as helpful and someone who participated in activities organised in their society.

The body of Sharma, who had gone missing for 13 days after reaching Hoshangabad to settle a property dispute with her uncle, was found Saturday near Dundadoh village. Police have arrested Sharma’s uncle and two of his domestic helps on charges of killing her.

Sharma’s friend Sonal Khanna said they feared something was wrong after her phone became unreachable. Khanna said she and her friends approached Delhi Police a few days after Sharma could not be contacted. “We went to Vasant Kunj (north) police station and lodged a written complaint… we also lodged a complaint with Madhya Pradesh Police,” Khanna added. “She had told me that she had a property dispute with her uncle and was going to settle it. I wish we could have accompanied her.”

Sharma and her husband separated 10 years ago, said sources. She worked with the school and also went to the US, where she stayed for three years. She quit the job last year after her department was shut, the sources added.
