Reports of illegal money collection from Passengers on the train without a ticket by the TTEs are so common. But a TTE went beyond it in Bareilly by selling entire train as its own private property for just Rs. seven thousand.
A TTE gave reservation to unreseved passengers by taking Rs. 100 each illegally in the train. Thus he ill illicitly earned Rs. 7 thousand from 70 seats on Raksha Bandhan day when there was heavy rush of passengers.
When the squad imposed fines of these passengers, they got enraged saying that they have been given reservation by TTE by taking Rs. 100 each.
Later, the culprit TTE Sarvesh Kumar Singh was suspended and departmental enquiry instituted against him.
