85 thousand sisters tied Rakhi to MoS Mr. Sarang
Bhopal, September 5, 2016 (Abdul Ahad Farhan): In order to strengthen social harmony and unity, 12 day Raksha Bandhan Mahotsav and Sawan Mela organized by the Minister of State for Gas Tragedy, Relief and Rehabilitation Mr. Vishwas Sarang concluded at Anna Nagar and Pushpa Nagar today. During this period, 85 thousand sisters tied rakhi to Mr. Sarang. Minister Mr. Vishwas conveyed good wishes for their happiness and prosperity. It is to be mentioned here that Narela Assembly area is one of its own kind of area in the country, where Raksha Bandhan Mahotsav is being organized every year since last seven years. Mahotsav was started by Mr. Vishwas Sarang in the year 2009. This year Raksha Bandhan Mahotsav was organized in ward 17 of Narela assembly area from August 23. Sawan Mela was also organized at the programme site. Various amusement facilities for children, Mehndi Stall, Medical camps and Orchestra are arranged during the Mahotsav. Also gifts are given to the sisters. It may be mentioned that Muslims sisters in large numbers took part in the programme this year. Mr. Sarang while addressing the sisters said he wish to establish family bond with the people of the area through this Mahotsav, relationship should not be restricted to only vote and work. He further added that construction works, roads, drainage system can witness declination over a period of time but the bond of heart and affinity is forever. Minister of State Mr. Sarang has adopted all the 13 malnourished children under the Sneh Sarokar Yojna during the Mahotsav at Anna Nagar. Mr. Sarang said that he will take care of these children till they become healthy.
