Civil wing of housing federation will be strengthened
MoS Mr. Sarang takes charge of chairman housing federation
Bhopal, September 6, 2016 (Ataullah Faizan): Minister for Cooperatives (Independent Charge) Mr. Vishwas Sarang said that the civil wing will be strengthened in order to strengthen the State Cooperative Housing Federation. Also, country’s first building material bank will be developed in the state. He took charge of the chairman of the housing federation today. Commissioner Cooperatives Mr. Manish Shrivastava was present on the occasion. Minister Mr. Sarang said that to take out the federation from loss and to bring it in the mainstream is a big challenge. For this, a concrete policy has been made, which will be implemented in a phase manner. He informed that the civil wing of the federation will be strengthened to enable it to provide services to the deposit category sector to make the federation economically competent. Mr. Sarang further mentioned that he will make efforts to get construction works of other government departments and works undertaken from MP and MLAs deposit category. Minister Mr. Sarang said that a building material bank will be established under the federation, which will be the first bank of such kind in the country in order to provide material on reasonable rates such as sand, cement, macadam and bricks for the construction works of various government departments. Mr. Sarang said that the federation will play an important role in realizing the dream ‘Houses for All’ of the prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi and the Chief Minister Mr. Shivraj Singh Chouhan. He said that houses will be constructed for low income group on the land earmarked by the housing societies to be used for lower category under the Cooperatives Act.
