Chief Minister Mr. Chouhan announces scheme
Bhopal, September 14, 2016 (Muslim Saleem): Chief Minister Mr. Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that the government will extend support to toppers of the XII standard in preparations for competitive examinations of Union Public Service Commission. Chief Minister Mr. Chouhan announced to frame a scheme in this regard, in a scholarship distribution programme of a private news channel. Minister for Water Resources and Public Relations, Mr. Narottam Mishra, Minister for Home and Transport Mr. Bhupendra Singh, Minister for School Education Kunwar Vijay Shah, Mayor Mr. Alok Sharma and MP Alok Sanjar were present in the programme. Chief Minister Mr. Chouhan exhorted girls to get knowledge and success in every field. He said the government would extend all possible help. There will be no dearth of fund in providing education. The government is working with determination to uplift life of the daughters. As many as 23 lakh Ladli Laxmi are in the state, who will get Rs 27,600 crore at the age of 21 years. He said, schemes and programmes are designed in the state as per expectations of common man. The Chief Minister said, a new innovative scheme has been introduced to promote talent. The Government will pay fee of the students, getting admissions in premier national institutes through all India competition.
Underlining a need to remove gender disparity, he said, the disparity is not in Indian culture. He appreciated the channel for social concerns and said that the scholarship will encourage girls for education. Chairman of IBC-24 channel Mr. Suresh Goyal said that each of 57 toppers in 51 districts has been provided Rs 50,000 scholarship in Swarnasharda Scholarship-2016. State topper and her school will get Rs one lakh each as cash award. He announced to give scholarship to boys on the request of the chief minister. Group editor of the channel Mr. Ravikant Mittal proposed the vote of thanks.
