Water pollution reduced by half because of Ganesh idol made of soil
Minister Mr. Arya reviews various departments
Bhopal, September 20, 2016 (Ataullah Faizan): Vaccination drive will be launched from October 31- the day of Govardhan puja across the state in which around two crore cattle will be covered for different vaccines. Fisherman welfare and fisheries department will put eight crore seeds to double fish production in water reservoirs and that will create possibility of production of 20 crore fishes. It will provide direct benefit to fishermen. Minister for animal husbandry, fisherman welfare and fisheries development, cottage industries and environment Mr. Antar Singh Arya informed this in a review meeting. Principal Secretary cottage industries Mrs. Veera Rana and principal secretary animal husbandry and fisheries Mr. Ashwini Rai were present in the meeting. On the line of Sanjeevani 108 service, a new ambulance service Sanjeevani 109 will be started for sick animals from January 1, 2017. One development block of each district will cover it in the first phase. Minister Mr. Arya issued instructions to organise convention of cottage and village industrialists. Mr. Singh said that industrialists will be awarded for excellent work in the convention. Mr. Arya reviewed silk production, sericulture, capacity development. It was informed in the meeting that seven automatic reeling machines will be installed for capacity building in sericulture, it would increase capacity by sixty percent.
Total 11 thousand 393 cases had been forwarded to banks, against the target of 7000 cases under Chief Minister Self-Employment Scheme under cottage and village industries, out of which 3521 cases had been sanctioned. Environment department and MP Pollution Control Board informed in the meeting that training was imparted in all districts for making eco-friendly Ganesh idols. Because of this, fifty percent less idols were immersed in rivers, ponds this year. Most of the people immersed Ganesh idols made by soil in homes. On August 4, 6000 saplings were planted in Khandwa in Hariyali Mahotsava, 63 thousand 854 in industries and offices under Indore office and 10,000 on the banks of Kshipra river in Ujjain.
