Various programmes in Van Vihar during wild life week

Bhopal, September 30, 2016 (Abdul Ahad Farhan):    Like every year, Wild Life Week will be observed at Van Vihar National Park, Bhopal from October One to 7. Wild Life week will be inaugurated with painting competition on October One at 10.30.a.m. Over 1500 students of schools and colleges are expected to take part in the competition. Exhibition of photographs of wild animals taken by the local photographers will also be organized.  On the second day of the week, bird watching camp, Lectures and show on snakes, photo exhibition and workshop on role of vultures in environment sanitation will take place, wherein subject experts of government and non government institutions will take part. Moreover, on October 3, bird watching camp, photography, teachers’ debate competition besides workshop on role of teachers in wild life conservation will be conducted. Teachers of schools and colleges of Bhopal will take part in the workshop. Further, on October 4, bird watching camp, Rangoli competition on subjects like butterflies and less known wild animals of the state will take place. Beside this debate competition for school students will be organized. Similarly, treasure hunt competition, spontaneous speech competition and debate competition of college students will be conducted.

  On October 6, bird watching camp and creativity workshop for school students will be organized. Children will learn to make creative articles in the workshop. Besides this semi final and final round of Prashan-Manch will be organized for students of class 9th to 12th.  At the concluding day of the week, fancy dress competition on wild life subject will be organized for students of primary classes. Open quiz competition will be conducted on this day too to enable tourists to take part in it.
