Revenue Minister and School Education Minister dedicate girls’ hostel at Tulsinagar, Bhopal
Bhopal, October 19, 2016 (Abdul Ahad Farhan): Tender will be issued for food for the students residing in hostels. Quality food will be made available for the students through tender. Superintendents and teachers to be freed from this work. Minister for School Education Kunwar Vijay Shah said this at the dedication programme of girls’ hostel of Government Naveen Girls Higher Secondary School, Tulsinagar today. Kunwar Vijay Shah and Minister for Revenue, Science and Technology Mr. Umashankar Gupta dedicated girls’ hostel constructed at the cost of Rs. 37 lakh. Mr. Shah made an announcement for construction of School’s boundary wall on the occasion. Minister Mr. Shah said that labour will be paid as per the collector rate to the people preparing food at present. He informed that branded cycles, uniforms and lap tops will be provided directly to the students. No Money in cash will be provided for these items. Uniforms will get stitched by widows and separated women by forming groups. This activity will provide employment to 5500 woman around the year. This system is being implemented in Gujarat. Almost Rs. 300 crore per annum is sent to the guardians’ bank accounts for uniform. Moreover, N.C.E.R.T. books will be provided to the students from next session.
After passing out, same books will be given to the next batch of students. The amount saved on this will be spent on schools’ furniture. Mr. Shah informed that the health check up of students putting up in the hostels will be conducted by the team of the medical college every third month. Report of the check up will be given to the students. He further said that all the children are linked with the adhaar number to gather information about students leaving schools. Minister for School Education Kunwar Vijay Shah informed that the scholarship will transfer to the bank accounts of 85 lakh students within a day at one click. This will prevent delay and irregularities.
