The students have also conducted a successful trial run of the rikshaw.
The students said that the e-rickshaws do not create air pollution.
ITI instructor BN Prakash said that as it is just the initial stage they have to get parts of the rickshaws from outside.
Currently, the rickshaw is being built at the ITI workshop. Prakash added that this will encourage talented students and if taken up on large scale it can provide employment to many.
