Ujjain city gives message of culture to entire world

lead17-11-16Bhopal, November 17, 2016 (Muslim Saleem):  Governor of Haryana Mr. Kaptan Singh Solanki has said Kalidas is pride for the entire country and the city of Ujjain gives message of culture to entire world. The description of the glory of Ujjain cannot be done. The city is not a holy one but it is the reflection of culture of the country. Governor Mr. Solanki was addressing valedictory function of Kalidas Samaroh today.  Governor Mr. Kaptan Singh Solanki said if one wants to see culture, he or she should stay in Ujjain. Kalidas penned epic Raghuvansham. This is true today. Great poet Kalidas says on how the relations of king and public should be is that public is like children for ideal king and he takes care of all. If public is in grief, the king faces punishment. What we call good governance today was explained in detail in the epic by the poet. The Governor said that it is appreciating that Kalidas Samaroh is being organised to spread views of the great poet Kalidas. Sanskrit scholar Mr. Kamleshdutta Tripathi said great poet Kalidas was national poet and the Kalidas Samaroh is a national festival. National and global nature of the festival should be reestablished. Literature of Kalidas provides message for cultural unity, universal brotherhood and unity. This should be communicated through the festival to entire world. In-charge vice-chancellor Mr. HP Singh delivered welcome speech.

MLA Dr Mohan Yadav, Mr. Bahadur Singh Chouhan, Mr. Anil Firojiya ad director of Kalidas Sanskrit Academy Mr. PK Jha were present. Governor of Haryana Mr. Kaptan Singh Solanki awarded winners of painting and sculpture contests by giving Rs 51,000 cash and citation in the valedictory function. They include Mr. Prashant M Patel of Ahamedabad, Mrs Alka Pathak of Astha, Mr. Jagdish Nagar and Mrs Pratibha Singh of Ujjain in painting contest. Mr. Nitesh Vishwakarma was awarded in sculpture contest. The governor also awarded winners inter-university debate, speech competitions and contests for school students, which were organised by University Governor of Haryana pay obeisance at Mahakal.

  Governor of Haryana Mr. KaptanSingh Solanki paid obeisance at Mr. Mahakaleshwar temple after valedictory function of Kalidas Samaroh. He prayed for development of the nation and prosperity of people. MLA Dr Mohan Yadav, Mr. Rup Pamnani, former mayor Mr. Madanlal Lalawat, Shripad Joshi and administrative officers were present on the occasion. Administrator of Mr. Mahakaleshwar Temple Management Committee Mr. Rajneesh Kasera presented portray of Lord Mahakal, prasad and shawl to Governor Mr. Solanki in Nandi Sabha Mandapam.
