Chief Secretary’s directives at revenue department’s video conferencing
Bhopal, November 17, 2016 (Abdul Ahad Farhan): Chief Secretary Mr. Basant Pratap Singh directed the District Collectors, Commissioners and Revenue Officers to redress land acquisition cases within time limit in a review meeting of Rvenue department through video conferencing today. Chief Secretary said that construction cost becomes high due to delay in land acquisition cases. There is a need to pay special attention towards these cases. Chief Secretary Mr. Singh further mentioned that appeal should be made within time limit in cases pending before the Supreme courts and High courts. A committee has been constituted under the chairmanship of Principal Secretary Law for immediate redressal of the pending cases. Moreover, Chief Secretary gave directives to redress assembly questions/assurances and clauses of public accounts committee on top priority in the video conferencing.
Commissioner Bhopal Mr. Ajatshatru gave suggestion for budget arrangements improvement in relief amount cases. Where as Commissioner Sagar Mr. Manohar Agnani has suggested for posting at vacant posts of revenue officers. In the review meeting, Commissioners and Collectors were directed to present report on inspections as per the roster for their subordinate offices. Principal Secretary Revenue Mr. Arun Pandey was present in the video conferencing.
