Bhopal, November 28, 2016 (Ataullah Faizan): Minister for Higher Education Mr. Jaibhan Singh Pawaiyya honoured and congratulated the members of National Service Scheme (N.S.S.) of the state who are conferred with the Highest Indira Gandhi N.S.S. Awards. He also made announcement to honour with a cash reward of Rs. 11 thousand to each honoured member to encourage them. It may be mentioned that the President of India has honoured two members of N.S.S. Miss Anushri Herald and Mr. Ritesh Ahirwar with the highest Indira Gandhi awards during the programme held at Rashtrapati Bhavan a few days ago. Minister Mr. Pawaiyya inviting both the awardees to his house congratulated them for their services and performances. He mentioned that the N.S.S. is the powerful means for voluntary service beside education. The N.S.S. develops the personality completely. Mr. Pawaiyya said that these students of Barkatullah University has brought laurel to the state. Moreover, efforts will be made by him in consent with the Chief Minister and discussion with the Human Resources Department to made N.S.S. mandatory for the first and second year students of the colleges. He believes that the educated youths must work to strengthen country with a vision to serve the nation and to fulfill social responsibilities. Minister Mr. Pawaiyya told the students to cooperate S.B.I. with all their might to realize the pledge of the Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi of Digital India and Plastic Currency. Students should make the campaign successful visiting village to village beside universities and colleges.
