Members suggest in departmental advisory committee meeting
Bhopal, November 9, 2016 (Ataullah Faizan): Timing of opening of government fair price shop and day would be mentioned on board. It will be ensured to give information regarding reason for finding ineligible family in POS machine. Action will be taken against concerned persons for lesser weighing and other irregularity in government fair price shop. Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection Minister Mr. Omprakash Dhurve issued the instructions to officials on the suggestions of departmental advisory commmittee meeting. It was also told to bring in execution suggestions given by members in the committee meeting. MLAs Mr. Ghanshyam Pironia, Mr. Diwan Singh Patel, Mrs. Pramila Singh, Mr. Tarun Bhanot, Mr. Hardeep Singh, Principal Secretary, Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection Mr. KC Gupta, commissioner, food, Mr. Faiz Ahmad Kidwai and MD,MARKFED Mr. BM Sharma were present in the meeting held in State Assembly Building. Minister Mr. Dhurve said that ration is being provided by 22 thousand 401 government fair price shops through POS machines. Samgra ID of card holders has been updated. The process is online. Eligibility is ensured on the basis of database. Families being declared ineligible are being informed about reasons behind this through machines. He asked the officers to conduct inspection as per suggestions given by members and ensure the arrangement.
Minister Mr. Dhurve said, task for form vigilance committee at shop level, block level and district level is at the final stage. The committees will conduct continue monitoring of government fair price shops. It was informed that 72 lakh 38 thousand women of poor background are targeted to provide free gas connection in next three years under Pradhanmantri Ujjawala Yojana. Right now, gas connections have been given to 15 lakh 10 thousand families. Madhya Pradesh is at second place in issuing gas connection in the country. Discussion was held in the meeting on kharif and rabi crop procurement.
