Naseer Parwaz is prolific poet of Urdu in Bhopal. The 86 years old poet has published scores of anthologies (sheri majmoo’e). His mind is so fertile that recently, he released 7 collections of his poetry simultaneously. These include his book “Ek Ghazal” which contains one single ghazal containing 2710 asha’ar, which is a matter of Guinness Book of Word Records. Earlier, Suhail Kakorvi of Lucknow had written a Ghazal containing over 100 asha’ar. He has also written Manzoon Seerat-e-Pak captioned as “Rasool-e-Akram” for which he was inspired when visiting Roza e Aqdas Madinah Sharif by a voice coming from somewhere (Muslim Saleem – Bhopal: December 13, 2016).
